Here’s my review for Cara’s most excellent Resolutions series, where I was challenged to watch and review a film I’d been meaning to watch for a very long time. I chose The Artist (2011), and certainly wasn’t disappointed. Cara’s Resolutions series is so great, and I’d highly recommend reading the other posts in the series!
TGIF, sweet readers! I tell you what, MLK Day off or no, it’s been a long one. I hope you guys have had a less crazy week than I have! One constant that I have been all too happy to devote some attention to these last few weeks is my Resolutions series and all of the glorious guests who have been participating–glorious guests like today’s Miss Anna of Film Grimoire!

Great review! I tried really hard to like this, but I just couldn’t. I know I’m in the minority.
Thanks heaps Brittani! I wonder if this is just too twee for some people.
Thank you so much, Anna!!! 🙂
Thank you, Cara! 🙂 Also, I finally realised I could reblog things here! A bit slow on the uptake!
LOL! Here’s to valuable discoveries, lady! 😉
Cool review yo! I’ve been meaning to check this out for a while, I just left it during the time of release because I thought it wouldn’t be my kind of thing, plus I’m not one that likes overly hyped Oscar-buzzed films. But since then I’ve changed my opinion on a lot of films I used to pass on.
Thanks heaps! 😀 I’m usually put off by the big Oscar films too, but this one was so great. Definitely don’t be discouraged by the buzz!
Superb film. First time when I saw this film, I told to the entire cast, I mean to everyone that ” guys are going to win an Oscar”. I also said to Jean Dujardin that he also will win an award for the best actor. 🙂 And I am glad that I was right. Thank you for your review. I love this film
You were right all along! 😀 Must have been so amazing to meet the cast of this wonderful film. Now I want to watch it again!
