Here at Film Grimoire and over at Movierob, July has been the month of A Timely Blogathon – the blogathon that Rob and I brainstormed and created to celebrate shorter films of 90 minutes or less. As July has now come to an end, so too has the blogathon, and I just wanted to thank everyone who took part and took the time to contribute something!

Congrats on this absolutely wonderful blogathon! I just recently found out that this was going on (I had to take some time off from blogging due to University commitments) and while I would otherwise loved to be a part of it, I really enjoyed reading the final submissions. Great work and just an amazing idea for a blogathon, really – I sincerely hope there will be a part two someday 😉

Short movies are nice. Technically every movie except one that I reviewed on my site this July was under 90 minutes and I knocked 15 of them out. And this year I’ve only been doing around 5 a month. Fun blogathon!

Nice list! I’ll have to come back to this whenever I’m short on time. Glad someone did Totoro! Great idea for a blogathon – I’ve not been around much but did see a few reviews pop up in the Reader. Glad to get a final roundup all together. : ) Oh – and may I recommend Circle? I happened to watch that recently not knowing beforehand just how short it was! Really enjoyed it.

I might be going to the movie Lights Out – mainly because I saw it’s only one hour & 21 minutes! Lol : )
